Artist Bio

Katrina Casey is an artist, licensed art therapist, and teacher based in New Haven, CT. She earned her B.A. from Eastern Connecticut State University with a focus in ceramic sculpture, and went on to graduate from Albertus Magnus College in 2021 with a Master of Arts in Art Therapy and Counseling. Her artistic practice centers around ceramics—frequently exploring wood-firing, intricate sgraffito, and porcelain carving to bring nature-inspired themes and wildlife figures to life. Katrina has participated in numerous local exhibitions showcasing her mixed media, sculptural, and functional work. Dedicated to community arts, she has taught at several local studios including Creative Arts Workshop, New Haven Pottery Studio, and The Clay Date, and works in a private therapy practice in New Haven.
